What a day it’s been. One of those long, full days where everything seems to happen at once — work, calls, errands, and the usual rush that never quite slows down. Now that things have finally settled and I can sit back for a moment, it feels good to switch off the noise and just relax.

I’ve finally got some time to properly explore MySA, and I must say, it’s impressive to see how much the platform has grown. The expansions and new features really show how much effort is going into building something meaningful for South Africans. It feels less like “just another social network” and more like a space that’s evolving with its community.

Looking forward to spending more time here, discovering what’s new, connecting, and seeing where MySA is headed next. Sometimes the best part of the day is simply being able to slow down, explore, and appreciate the progress being made.

Had a meeting this morning with some young individuals and the conversation was very interesting.

The topic today was: Why would I join the My South Africa platform when I am already on other platforms like Facebook, X and even Instagram.

Before I could even give my opinion another lady having her coffee at the table behind us responded.

Its basic math when you want to determine an answer. Ask yourself what do you get out of using these other platforms?

Do they change your life or offer you something positive in the end when using them?


So after her input the conversation went to the next level between the group.

The conclusion was simple -

My South Africa will be making a difference for the local South African economy.

Making a positive change for our own communities.

Whilst all other platforms that the majority use which are internationally based and owned, only benefit their economy in full.

So it was a nice way to start the day.
