• NEW ORIGINAL SONG | QUEEN OF HEARTS

    Some hearts don’t play fair.

Some games you walk into knowing the odds.

Queen of Hearts is an original country song about the risk of loving someone who keeps the deck stacked — and the choices we make when emotion beats logic every time.

With classic country storytelling, a honky-tonk groove, and a playful but emotional edge, this song is for anyone who’s ever known they should walk away… and stayed one hand too long.

Listen now and tell us — would you fold, or play it out?

  • Something Powerful Is About to Be Heard.

Rydio is getting ready to launch — and with it comes a new era of online audio streaming and digital entertainment, built with both local heart and international capability.

Rydio is more than a streaming platform. It’s a next-generation audio ecosystem designed to elevate voices, strengthen communities, and create equal opportunity for broadcasters, creators, and listeners alike. Locally rooted, globally powered, Rydio is engineered to ensure that South African audio culture doesn’t just survive — it thrives.

As part of our launch journey, we will be personally engaging with radio stations across South Africa. Not to compete with them. Not to replace them. But to stand alongside them.

Rydio is a shared space — a platform that gives broadcasters the opportunity to expand their reach, embrace innovation, and be part of a collective future where collaboration matters more than control. Nothing is taken away. Everything is amplified. Those who choose to step forward will find an environment built on partnership, visibility, and mutual growth.

At its core, Rydio is a combined-strength initiative. It exists to bring people together, to support local voices, and to create a fair digital landscape where everyone has the chance to be heard — regardless of size, status, or legacy.

This journey will naturally highlight those who believe in working together for a stronger future, and those who prefer to walk their own path. Both choices are respected. But the opportunity to help shape something bigger is here.

The sound of tomorrow is forming.
The question is not who is biggest —
but who is ready to build together.

Rydio. Where voices connect. Where communities grow

  • A psychological study in Germany from the 1980s revealed that men who kissed their wives before leaving for work lived an average of five years longer than those who didn’t! But experts believe the secret to a longer lifespan isn’t just in the act of kissing itself—it’s the positive mindset that comes with it.

Psychologists analyzing the data suggest that regular expressions of love, such as a simple goodbye kiss, help reinforce emotional connection and overall well-being. This boost in positivity translates into healthier lifestyle choices, reduced stress, and even lower risks of illness. Unsurprisingly, these affectionate men were also more likely to earn higher incomes, take fewer sick days, and even avoid car accidents.

So, while the kiss may be small, the impact is huge, it fosters stronger bonds, a happier outlook, and a healthier life.

  • Motivational Stories for Business and Work

Succeeding in business is no easy feat. Challenges, setbacks, and rejections are inevitable. But what separates success from failure is persistence — the will to get back up, learn, and keep going. These powerful motivational stories prove that with hard work, determination, and self-belief, any level of success is possible.

    1. Colonel Sanders | Kentucky Fried Chicken

Once there was an elderly man who was broke, living in a small house, and driving a beat-up car. He survived on $99 social security checks. At 65 years old, he decided it was time to make a change.

He looked at what he had to offer — and realized his chicken recipe was something special. His friends always raved about it. So, he packed his belongings and hit the road, traveling from state to state, pitching his recipe to restaurant owners.

He offered his chicken recipe for free, asking only for a small percentage of the profits from the sales. Sounds fair, right? But over 1,000 restaurant owners turned him down. Still, he refused to give up. He truly believed in his recipe.

After 1,009 rejections, someone finally said yes. That one “yes” changed everything. Colonel Harland Sanders went on to create Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) — one of the most recognizable brands in the world.

Lesson: never give up and always believe in yourself in spite of rejection.

    2. The Obstacle in Our Path

A wealthy and curious king once placed a giant boulder in the middle of a busy road. Then, he hid nearby to observe what would happen.

The king’s richest merchants and courtiers passed by first. Instead of moving the boulder, they simply walked around it, complaining loudly about the king for not keeping the roads clear. None of them even tried to move the obstacle.

Eventually, a poor peasant came along, carrying vegetables on his back. When he reached the boulder, he set his load down and tried to push it aside. It took a lot of effort, but he finally managed to move it out of the way.

As he bent down to pick up his load, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. Inside it were gold coins — and a note from the king explaining that the gold was a reward for anyone who removed the obstacle.

Lesson: every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition. Those willing to put in the effort to overcome challenges often discover rewards that others miss.

    3. Value

At the start of a seminar, a motivational speaker held up a crisp $20 bill in front of a crowd of 200 people. He asked, “Who wants this $20 bill?”

    Every hand went up.

He then crumpled the bill and asked again, “Who still wants it?”
    All the hands stayed raised.

Next, he dropped the bill on the floor, stomped on it, and picked it back up — now dirty and wrinkled. “Who still wants it?” he asked once more.
    Again, every hand went up.

    He smiled and said:

“No matter what I did to this bill — crumpled it, stepped on it — it didn’t lose its value. It’s still worth $20. The same is true for you. No matter what happens, no matter how many times life knocks you down or how dirty you feel, your value never decreases. You are still worthy.”

Lesson: Many times in life, we get crumpled, stepped on, and ground into the dirt by challenges, mistakes, or circumstances beyond our control. We make poor choices, face rejection, or endure seasons that test our spirit. During those moments, it’s easy to feel defeated or worthless. Just like a crumpled bill remains worth the same, you are still valuable, you are capable, and worthy of success, your value never decreases. You are special — never forget it.

    4. A Very Special Bank Account

Imagine having a bank account that deposits $86,400 every morning. The account doesn’t carry over any balance — whatever you don’t use is lost forever at the end of the day. What would you do? You’d use every cent wisely, right?

You already have such an account — it’s called Time.
Every day, you’re given 86,400 seconds to use. Whatever you don’t spend wisely is gone forever. There are no loans, no overdrafts, and no carrying over to the next day.

You can’t save time, but you can invest it — in your goals, your growth, and your dreams. Each morning gives you a new opportunity to make the most of your time.

Lesson: Time is your most valuable currency. Use it with purpose, because once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.

    Final Thought

Whether you’re an entrepreneur, a leader, or an employee chasing your goals — these stories remind us that persistence, perspective, and purpose are the cornerstones of success. Every challenge hides a lesson. Every day is a new opportunity. And no matter how hard things get, your value and potential remain constant.

If You Believe it, You Can Achieve it!!!

I heard Carol-Ann talk at a ladies group and it was so interesting. I thought with my whole heart I was eating very healthy. I contacted Carol-Ann and I warned her, I will be a challenge, I have so many allergies, I am a grazer (wanting to snack and eat throughout the day), I am not going to do intermitted fasting, I don't like doing exercises and the list was endless. Carol-Ann bravely took on the challenge.

The first 2 weeks of the anti-inflammatory eating plan was so tough and a couple of times I did not think I was going to make it, but she was so encouraging and really a phone call/whatsapp away, holding my hand and encouraging me.

Carol-Ann managed to teach me to eat 3 meals a day and because these 3 meals had the perfect balance I did not need to snack in between meals. The best is, Carol-Ann gives a meal plan, so you don't need to think about what you need to eat. Then she managed to get me to a point of practicing intermitted fasting, and this was a miracle!

Carol-Ann does life with you and when I fell of the wagon, she was there to help me get back on track, never judging, just encouraging and wanting to make things easier. Even when I went to a restaurant, I would let Carol-Ann know, she would look at the menu and give me 3 choices. I never ever felt deprived.
I am now on the maintenance plan and still see Carol-Ann on a regular basis, this is purely for accountability, because I tried for 2 months doing it by myself, knowing exactly what to eat and not to eat.
This was not a diet, but a lifestyle change that has had a positive effect on me, from making better choices, doing exercises and life with Carol-Ann.
    Thank you so much

  • First steps are very important...

We may not always understand which steps someone needs to take or why, but what’s certain is that those steps matter.

Whether it’s your first baby steps, the daily choices that shape your life, or the difficult steps you’re afraid to take, every step counts.

Each one moves you closer to growth, change, and new beginnings.

  • Good morning, everyone!

I’ve been thinking a lot about the future of our food and the role we all play in shaping it. Agriculture isn’t just about crops or technology — it’s about communities, innovation, and the choices we make every day.

It’s exciting to see how sustainable practices and new technologies are coming together to create a future where we can feed the world responsibly. Small steps, big impact — and I’m grateful to share these insights with you through my work at Trustoria.

Here’s to learning, growing, and making a difference — one field, one idea, one community at a time.

  • THE DEAD HORSE THEORY: FACING REALITY WITH WISDOM
    THE SATIRICAL METAPHOR
The “Dead Horse Theory” is a satirical metaphor that reveals how people, institutions, and even nations deal with obvious problems as if they were unsolvable mysteries. Instead of confronting the truth, they create elaborate justifications, endless strategies, and costly distractions—yet the core issue remains the same: the horse is dead.
    THE SIMPLE IDEA
If you realize you’re riding a dead horse, the smartest decision you can ever make is simple: get off immediately. But in reality, many refuse to accept the obvious and end up making bizarre and wasteful choices.
    THE STRANGE BEHAVIORS PEOPLE ADOPT
Instead of accepting the truth, people often:
1️⃣ Buy a new saddle, hoping it makes the horse useful again.
2️⃣ Feed the horse as if it were alive, wasting resources.
3️⃣ Change the rider, pretending the problem is leadership.
4️⃣ Fire the caretaker, blaming the wrong person.
5️⃣ Hold endless meetings on how to increase the speed of the dead horse.
6️⃣ Form committees and task forces to “analyze” the problem.
7️⃣ Spend months studying the horse, only to conclude what was already obvious: the horse is dead.
8️⃣ Compare their horse with other dead horses to justify failure.
9️⃣ Request training for the horse, as if skill could bring life back.
Allocate budgets for the training course—wasting even more.
    THE HEIGHT OF DENIAL
In the end, denial reaches absurd levels. Instead of acknowledging reality, people redefine the meaning of “dead” just to convince themselves that the horse is still alive. This mindset blinds them from progress and traps them in cycles of illusion.
THE LESSON FOR LIFE AND LEADERSHIP
How many individuals, companies, and governments fall into this trap? Instead of facing the bitter truth, they live in comforting illusions. The result? Time, money, and effort are wasted on what cannot produce life.
True wisdom lies in recognizing when something no longer works, whether it’s a failing system, a toxic relationship, a broken method, or a fruitless investment. Clinging to what is dead will only keep you stuck.
    THE PRINCIPLE OF ACCEPTANCE
Admitting the problem is not weakness; it is the first step toward real solutions. Only when you accept reality can you redirect your energy toward fresh opportunities, new strategies, and living solutions. Refusing to let go of a dead horse only guarantees stagnation, frustration, and wasted potential.
    FINAL WORD
The Dead Horse Theory is more than a satire—it is a mirror. It asks: What dead horses are you still riding in life? Is it a habit that no longer serves you? A career path with no future? A strategy that produces no results? A relationship that drains you?
Wisdom calls us to stop pouring life into what is already gone. Courage calls us to dismount and move on. For only then can we channel our resources, strength, and vision toward what is truly alive and fruitful.
Remember: If the horse is dead, no amount of feeding, training, or committees will change that. Get off, and choose life over illusion.
