Ek sit nou en kyk na my uitgawes die laaste paar maande en eerlikwaar, dit maak nie meer sin nie. Alles gaan op – kos, petrol, elektrisiteit, huur – maar my salaris bly basies dieselfde. Jy werk harder, jy probeer meer doen, maar aan die einde van die maand voel dit nogsteeds of jy agter raak.
So my vraag is eenvoudig: waar gaan al die geld heen?
As alles duurder raak, beteken dit mos iemand maak meer geld iewers. Maar dit is beslis nie die gewone werkende mense nie. Ons sien dit nie in ons sakke nie. Ons sien dit net in hoe ons al hoe meer moet sny en probeer uitwerk hoe om klaar te kom.
Mens begin wonder of die hele stelsel nog werk vir die mense wat elke dag opstaan en eerlik werk. Want tans voel dit net of ons harder en harder druk, maar niks beweeg vorentoe nie.

In Australia the citizens have 5 different electricity service providers to select from.
All work on a year-to-year contract basis and when you sign a year contract with any one of them they let you select a new appliance after signing.
So every year you can have a different company supplying your power and get a new fridge or kettle, etc
