  • Happy Women’s Day, South Africa!

Today, the MySA team proudly celebrates the incredible women who help shape our families, our communities, our workplaces and our country.

We celebrate the mothers, daughters, sisters, entrepreneurs, professionals, caregivers, leaders, educators, protectors, creators and dreamers who continue to make a difference every single day.

Women’s Day is also a reminder of the courage and determination of the women who came before us, and of the responsibility we all share to continue building a South Africa where every woman has the opportunity to be heard, respected, supported and empowered.

To every woman across our beautiful country: your strength matters, your voice matters, your contribution matters, and you matter.

May we continue to support one another, create opportunities for one another and build stronger communities together.

From all of us at MySA, we wish every woman across South Africa a very special and meaningful National Women’s Day.

Connect. Support. Grow. South Africa. Together.

  • There are many people who believe they are good at what they do, but the truth is that real ability is rarely built overnight. Behind every meaningful skill are years of hard work, mistakes, sacrifice, discipline and countless hours spent improving when nobody was watching.

This is not about ego, competition or believing that one person is better than another. Every individual has different talents, strengths and opportunities. Technology and AI can be powerful tools, but using a tool is not the same as mastering a craft. We should never underestimate those who have spent years studying, practising and perfecting their work.

At the same time, nobody is entitled to success. The world does not owe us recognition, opportunity or achievement simply because we want it. We can support, guide and encourage people, but ultimately, we can only truly help those who are willing to help themselves.

There are only so many hours in a day. Time does not pause while we wait for the perfect moment, and once it has passed, we cannot recover it. Every hour gives us a choice: waste it, or use it to build, create, learn, improve and prepare for a better tomorrow.

In the end, the question is not whether people believed we were talented. The question is whether we used what we had to make a difference.

    What did we build?
    Who did we help?
    What did we improve?
What legacy will remain when our time has passed?

Success is not about being better than everyone else. It is about becoming better than you were yesterday and using your journey to leave something meaningful behind.

  • Something extraordinary is taking shape behind the scenes at MySA.

What started as a vision to connect South Africans has grown into something far more powerful — a platform that is helping businesses become visible, build stronger digital footprints and unlock new opportunities in ways that were previously out of reach.

We are currently transforming, rebuilding and expanding MySA from the ground up. Every system, feature and connection is being shaped around one purpose: to create a stronger digital future where businesses of every size have the tools, exposure and support they need to grow.

This is not simply an upgrade.

It is the beginning of a new era for MySA — one built around innovation, opportunity, collaboration and real empowerment.

Our footprint is growing. Our network is becoming stronger. More industries, businesses and communities are becoming part of the journey.

The future of MySA is taking shape, and it is bigger, smarter and more powerful than ever before.

We cannot wait to show South Africa what comes next.

  • 📖 Monday Motivation

The goal isn't simply teaching children to read words.

The goal is helping them understand what they read, think about it, learn from it, and enjoy it.

When a child discovers that reading makes sense, something powerful happens:
    ✨ Confidence grows.
    ✨ Learning improves.
    ✨ New opportunities open.

We've witnessed children who once struggled become enthusiastic readers who enjoy books and approach learning with confidence.

This Monday, remember that every child has potential waiting to be unlocked.

💙 Keep planting seeds. The harvest will come.

  • We don’t rise to the level of our intentions as parents we fall to the level of our awareness! This Child Protection Week we were privileged to partner with Heart of Stella Foundatuon to bring more awareness to the safety of children. Not just your own child, but every child you come in contact with.

Visit the link to watch our full workshop! In today's digital age, social media plays a significant role in both our professional and personal lives. However, it is crucial to recognize that while these platforms can foster connections and opportunities, they can also pose risks, particularly when it comes to the safety of our children.

As parents, we must be vigilant in protecting our kids from potential social media predators. Here are some effective ways to safeguard them:
    1. Educate Your Child: Talk openly about the dangers of sharing personal information online. Teach them to keep their profiles private and only accept friend requests from people they know.
    2. Set Boundaries: Establish clear rules regarding social media use, including time limits and the types of content they can share.
    3. Monitor Activity: Regularly check your child’s social media accounts and their interactions. This will help you stay informed about who they're communicating with.
    4. Use Parental Controls: Utilize built-in parental control features on devices and apps to restrict access to certain content or limit screen time.
    5. Encourage Open Communication: Create an environment where your child feels comfortable discussing any uncomfortable interactions or experiences they may encounter online.

By taking these proactive steps, we can help ensure that our children navigate the world of social media safely and responsibly. Let's work together to protect the next generation!
