MySA Community Update 🇿🇦 Today we received a direct call from the FKN Army team following our recent discussions — and we truly appreciate them taking the time to engage with us personally. We are now awaiting their final decision, and we are genuinely excited to see where this conversation may lead. Let us be absolutely clear: This is not about exposure. This is not about leveraging another organization for our own gain. Our core mission at MySA remains unchanged — to actively find, uplift, and support unemployed South Africans by helping connect them to real opportunities and sustainable employment. At the same time, we believe in standing alongside credible, boots-on-the-ground organizations that are already doing the hard work — supporting communities, families, individuals in crisis, animal shelters, and those who need immediate assistance across our country. If a formal partnership is formed, it will be rooted in one thing: Real impact. Real support. Real change. Had a meeting this morning with some young individuals and the conversation was very interesting. The topic today was: Why would I join the My South Africa platform when I am already on other platforms like Facebook, X and even Instagram. Before I could even give my opinion another lady having her coffee at the table behind us responded. Its basic math when you want to determine an answer. Ask yourself what do you get out of using these other platforms? Do they change your life or offer you something positive in the end when using them? So after her input the conversation went to the next level between the group. The conclusion was simple - My South Africa will be making a difference for the local South African economy. Making a positive change for our own communities. Whilst all other platforms that the majority use which are internationally based and owned, only benefit their economy in full.
